What You’ll Do:

As a Prep Cook, you will play a key role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and that our guests receive high-quality, fresh, and delicious food. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Following prep lists created by the Kitchen Manager to organize daily duties.
• Labeling, stocking, and organizing ingredients for easy access and efficiency.
• Measuring and preparing ingredients such as vegetables, meats, sauces, and seasonings.
• Performing basic cooking tasks including reducing sauces, blanching, and portioning food.
• Assisting in assembling simple dishes such as salads and appetizers.
• Keeping prep and workstations clean and organized, following food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and properly disposing of trash to maintain a clean kitchen.
• Storing food and ingredients correctly to maintain quality and freshness.
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during busy hours.
• Performing other duties as assigned by upper management to support kitchen operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 4+ years of prep cook experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, kitchen sanitation, and proper food handling.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Great attention to detail, time management, and organization skills.
• A positive team-player attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a physically demanding kitchen environment.
