This is a Hospitality Assistant postion to work from Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) to start from 02/02/26.
From high profile events and functions to corporate meetings, you’ll ensure every customer experience is a positive one. Providing an efficient and high standard of hospitality service, you’ll set up, service and clear areas with meticulous attention to detail, understanding that discretion and politeness are essential.
You have the ability to listen carefully and take instructions, and communicate confidently while you work to an organised plan following procedures and displaying good practice at all times. And you’ll be sure to liaise with customers to ensure their needs have been met.

Provide prompt and efficient service to every customer
To ensure all hospitality and beverage areas are clean, well-stocked and laid out in line with 6 key principles
To monitor all hospitality and beverage areas to ensure consistent standards of cleanliness
To assist with the set-up and service of Board Lunches
To assist with the receipt of deliveries ensuring stock stored away correctly
To ensure all Health & Safety and food safety requirements are met
Key outputs
Liaise with different departments & manager to achieve desired results
Interact with customers, gaining feedback and reacting appropriately
Monitor all hospitality and beverage areas to ensure consistent levels of stock
Maintain a clean and tidy storeroom, ensuring accurate stock rotation
Liaise with the manager reference stock ordering requirements
Support the manager with weekly stock counts
Follow all procedures and reasonable instructions from your manager
Take and record delivered-in food temperatures
Positive team contact
Attend training where necessary
Qualifications
Level 2 Food Safety certificate
Level 2 H&S certificate
Skills/Knowledge
Allergy awareness, including Natasha’s Law
Five-star service
Coffee machine cleaning, maintenance and basic trouble shooting

COSHH in a food environment
Fire safety awareness
Previous experience in a service environment dealing with customers (preferable)
Adequate communication skills
Consistently in line with bm standards of personal presentation

Proactive in responding to changing service needs, depending on relevant factors e.g. number of hospitality bookings
