GRAPHIC DESIGNER

The ideal candidate is extremely detail oriented with strong design abilities and a distinct eye for color, pattern and typography.  We’re looking for a talented graphic designer with deep experience in conceptual design as well as production design and iterating. You excel in an independent, fast-paced environment, can juggle a variety of daily projects, while being a team player.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Create design briefs and determine requirements

·       Schedule projects

·       Conceptualize visuals based on requirements

·       Prepare rough drafts and present ideas

·       Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand

·       Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic

·       Study design briefs and determine requirements

·       Schedule projects and define budget constraints

·       Conceptualize visuals based on requirements

·       Prepare rough drafts and present ideas

·       Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software

·       Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic

·       Amend designs after feedback

·       Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

EDUCATION

·       Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 5+ years of print, digital, and web design experience
• A diverse portfolio that showcases a refined style across a variety of project types and mediums
• Agency experience is preferred

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

• Extremely detail oriented and self-disciplined
• Works well under pressure, with a natural sense of urgency
• A diverse portfolio that showcases a refined style across a variety of project types and mediums
• Demonstrable knowledge of brand, brand systems, advertising, and marketing strategy
