Socarrat Paella Bar is now hiring enthusiastic and hospitable host/hostess/lead host to join our growing team!

We are an upscale casual restaurant whose number priority is to take care of our guests.

Positions available at both our Midtown East and Chelsea locations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must gain extensive knowledge about menu, concept and wine list to be able to answer customer questions
- Take reservations
- Enhance the customer experience by treating guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Greet and seats guests
- Present menus to guests
- Answer phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant
- If applicable, take fill and process to-go orders



The ideal candidate is warm, friendly and has a "guest first" mentality.


Skills and Requirements:
- At least one year of restaurant experience
- Customer service experience
- OpenTable / Guest Center experience
- Detailed oriented
- Organized
- Clean and polished appearance
- Must abide by our "elegant casual" dress code
- Available to work weekends and holidays
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
