• 150-cover restaurant with 80 covers inside, 10 at the bar and 60 covers in the outdoor courtyard

• Australian hospitality is professional, knowledgeable and passionate, but also engaging, friendly and fun

• Seasonal a la carte lunch/dinner menu showcasing modern Australian cuisine - coastal, barbecue, with southeast Asian and Mediterranean influences. We also have a daily breakfast service

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and confident Host to deliver exceptional and attentive service to our guests from the very first interaction.

As the face of the restaurant, you will possess outstanding communication, telephone, and presentation skills, creating memorable first impressions and helping shape an unforgettable guest experience.

This role requires sharp attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm and positive under pressure. You will bring genuine passion, warmth, and personality to every shift, building lasting rapport with both guests and colleagues alike.

We are looking for someone who naturally makes people feel welcome.  Someone who can read a room, engage guests with confidence and humour, and embody the relaxed sophistication that defines Australian hospitality.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Full-time availability

• Previous experience in a similar hospitality role, ideally within a high-volume restaurant environment

• Experience using SevenRooms (required), Microsoft Office, and general computer skills

• A strong understanding of Australian hospitality, and delivering professionalism with confidence while making guests feel relaxed and at home

• A natural ability to connect with people and build genuine relationships with guests

• Confidence identifying VIP guests, returning guests, and first time visitors, creating memorable experiences for everyone

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Exceptional organisation and attention to detail

• A positive, proactive, and adaptable mindset

• Eagerness to learn, grow, and develop new skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences
