Main Duties:
To ensure that all guests to the Club are seated in a fair and orderly way. During busy periods this will require a waiting list to be operated. When all the tables are occupied, the Host will have the waiting list. Guests will register their requirements for a table, and the Host will add their name and a brief description to the list. They can then wait at the bar until a table becomes available when the Host will locate them and seat them. The Host will also be responsible for transferring the tab from the Bar onto the new table, and relaying any important information regarding an existing order or the guest to the new waiter. Constant communication between the Managers, Front Desk and the Restaurant is essential to maximize table usage and efficiency.
The Host will also have a thorough understanding of the Soho House work ethos, and be very confident in dealing with complaints. There is a strong amount of guest relations that go into the job with a key focus on building up rapport with members. This will be achieved through the friendliness, charm and good humored nature of the Host.

• To build up strong guest relations whilst being professional, fun and a good team player.
• A great understanding of the Soho House 'yes, yes, yes' ethos, including having the confidence to deal with complaints.

• Ensure the highest level of personal appearance at all times.
• Ensure that you are on time for work.
• Adhere to the company procedures for sickness and absence.
• Identify and report hazards and maintenance requirements in the workplace.
• Any reasonable requests from Senior Management.
• Continuously supporting on-going and changing CGS (china, glassware, silverware) initiatives.
