Position Summary:
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes with precision and consistency, working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service. Ideal candidates have strong fundamentals, a positive attitude, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Spago’s recipes, plating standards, and timing

• Maintain proper setup, cleanliness, and organization of assigned station

• Assist in prepping ingredients, stocks, sauces, and garnishes as needed

• Work closely with chefs and teammates to ensure quality and consistency in every dish

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures

• Take direction well and maintain professionalism at all times

Qualifications:

• Previous kitchen experience required; fine dining or upscale restaurant experience preferred

• Culinary school graduates encouraged to apply

• Strong knife skills and understanding of cooking techniques

• Able to maintain composure and efficiency in a fast-paced kitchen

• Flexible schedule with availability on nights, weekends, and holidays

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

• Team-oriented with a passion for food and hospitality
