About Spago Maui:
Located at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, Spago by Wolfgang Puck blends Hawaiian and California cuisine in an elegant, ocean-view setting. Our team is dedicated to providing a warm, welcoming, and world-class dining experience for every guest.

Position Summary:
As the Host/Hostess, you are the first and last point of contact for guests at Spago Maui. Your warm demeanor, professional presence, and attention to detail help set the tone for a seamless and memorable dining experience. You’ll manage reservations, greet guests with genuine hospitality, and coordinate the dining room flow with grace and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and welcome all guests as they arrive

  • Manage reservations and waitlists using our booking system

  • Coordinate guest seating with servers and management to ensure smooth service flow

  • Provide accurate wait time estimates and communicate with guests during busy periods

  • Answer phones and assist with reservation inquiries in a professional manner

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entryway

  • Assist in accommodating guest requests and special occasions

  • Work closely with the management and front-of-house team to ensure exceptional guest service

Qualifications:

  • Previous host/hostess or customer service experience in a high-volume or fine dining setting preferred

  • Warm, approachable, and professional communication style

  • Comfortable using reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy)

  • Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Passion for hospitality and a desire to be part of a dynamic, service-driven team
