Sparrow Italia's third location will be opening soon in Wynwood, Miami.
Food Runners are responsible for controlling the flow of food in and out of the kitchen and maintaining clear communication between the kitchen and front-of-house team. This position will primarily focus on delivering bread to guests’ tables, ensuring presentation and timing meet our service standards. Food Runners must have thorough menu knowledge to accurately identify each dish (including modifications) as it is served. It is your responsibility to ensure guests enjoy a high-quality dining experience through timely, accurate, and attentive service.
Responsibilities
Maintain a working environment that complies with health and safety guidelines
Be attentive—proactively anticipate the needs of coworkers and guests
Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest
Qualifications
Comparable experience in a fine dining or similar full-service environment
Availability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for the duration of shifts and lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs
Communication skills including the ability to work in a team, assist with guests’ concerns, and to receive and follow verbal instructions provided in English
