As D&D London’s first hotel, South Place Hotel is quite rightly something special: boutique, luxurious and fresh faced. Described by Wallpaper magazine as ‘Miami via Moorgate’, the hotel has 80 guest rooms, Michelin starred Angler restaurant as well as 3SP restaurant and five bars. With an array of meeting and event spaces as well as the stunning Secret Garden and rooftop terrace overlooking the Capital.

 YOU:

We are looking for a “Night Owl” who is upbeat and passionate no matter what time it is! If you are confident you can deliver exceptional, 5 star services to our guests this job could be for you.

 ROLE:

Our Night Managers head up the operation of South Place Hotel throughout the night as part of our Front of House team. Working in rotation with our team this role is a 12 hour shift covering 4 nights on and 4 nights off.

·  To support our teams through the service they deliver to our internal and external guests by leading the nightly business and maintaining, reviewing and preparing the coordination of daily tasks.

·  Display a working knowledge of the Hotel in order to assist, promote all areas of the business to our guests.

·  Ensure all night audit procedures are adhered

·  Lead the night team to ensure our guests receive the same great service we are known for throughout the night

·  Achieves departmental targets for guest satisfaction, room revenue and company initiatives and promotions by supervising the Front Office operation

·  Participates in the prompt and courteous check in and check out of guests

·  Motivates the Front Office team and focuses on improving and increasing service delivery efficiency

·  Performs night audit duties as required

·  People developer/exporter

The Night Manager Requirements

 ·  Be passionate, motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic.

·  Excellent command of the English language

·  Experience as a Night Manager or an Assistant Night Manager in a 4-5 star hotel

·  Confident ability to communicate & establish rapport

·  Excellent telephone manner,

·  Sales skills, ability to up-sell

·  Ability to work a flexible schedule

·  Be a team player
