Description

As D&D London’s first hotel, South Place Hotel is quite rightly something special: boutique, luxurious
and fresh faced. Described by Wallpaper magazine as ‘Miami via Moorgate’, the hotel has 80 guest
rooms, Michelin starred Angler restaurant as well as South Place Chop House and five bars. With an
array of meeting and event spaces as well as the stunning Secret Garden and rooftop terrace
overlooking the Capital.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Events Coordinator to join the team who can confidently deliver extraordinary and prompt service to our guests. You will contribute to the South Place Hotel sales strategy delivery and must have excellent communication and rapport-building skills. Candidates should have outstanding telephone and presentation skills to represent the South Place Hotel as the first point of contact and deliver an unforgettable guest experience.

Based on the event 1st-floor reception desk, you will be the first person our guests meet on the day of their event and coordinate with the operation team and client.

  • Responsible for coordinating core business enquiries from the top corporate clients and other events initiatives
  • Coordinate and maximise private dining, exclusive hires and group bookings, cross-selling and up-selling as appropriate
  • Responsible for updating the document library, templates, menus and collateral to maximise conversion of private dining, group booking events and exclusive hires
  • Support the Events team with corporate research, report building and data finding
  • Attend and work on events at the restaurants and venues as requested
  • General administration support as required
