Gleaning inspiration from her history, this classic Victorian pub with rooms stands proudly in the very heart of Wandsworth, South West London and is triumphantly reminiscent of the 18th-century public houses of her past. A haven for foodies, the menu includes pub classics which are joyfully redolent of British dishes served in days gone by.
Grade II listed and sensitively restored, the Spread Eagle houses 21 beautiful boutique bedrooms and showcases nostalgic, traditional features; including stylish etched glass, reclaimed wooden floorboards, heritage colours and brass fittings. Less a transformation, and more a reincarnation of everything we love about the Great British Pub. The nearest station is Wandsworth Town with great links to all local areas!

What we look for in a Night Porter:

As the successful Night Porter you will have a passion to deliver exceptional customer service every time, with a friendly outgoing personality, be self-motivated and willing to work alone at times. You will have experience working in a similar environment, have excellent communication skills and an impeccable eye for detail.

Our Night Porters play an important role in ensuring the safety of our guests and the security of our pub and hotel throughout the night. You will be responsible for dealing with any guest requests, greeting and checking in late arrivals and maintaining room standards. As Night Porter you will also set up for breakfast service and carry out any health and safety checks and audits as necessary throughout the night, alongside other tasks set out at the discretion of the manager within the hotel and pub.
