About the job

Striving to be the greatest hosts our waiters look after our guests with a genuine enthusiasm for what we do. Using their ability to strike up a conversation, extensive menu knowledge, organisational skills, pace and own personalities they ensure our guests leave us with the best feeling possible.

You must face the world with a smile that is bigger than your ego, and be able to think “we” rather than I. We would love to show our little part of the world and teach you everything from sticks to sushi – you just need the passion and enthusiasm to make the experience enjoyable for others.

As Waiter in Sticks’n’Sushi, you…

• are a real people person with a big smile and open arms.
  
• take pride in your appearance and are always on time.
  
• genuinely YOU, confident but humble with it.
  
• are interested in learning and a passionate storyteller. 
  
• can read the room, approach challenges in a mature yet flexible way.
  

Required skills

The right attitude is a must, experience is not.  The only requirements are that you must be over the age of 18, able to hold a conversation in English and above all love to host others.

Since 1994 we have served high-quality, fresh, traditional sushi and grilled yakitori sticks, always striving to be the greatest hosts we can.  Being Danish, we don’t like hype or superficiality, so we hire big smiles and small egos. People who can go much further than expected. We don’t waste our time on anyone who isn’t a team player.  People who take their work, but not themselves, too seriously are the ones everybody likes the most.
