Job description
The Events Sales Manager is responsible for business development, building relationships, and event preparation and execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Solicit both promotional & corporate paid events
• Negotiate terms with Clients under The ONE Group’s parameters
• Input event details into Management Database (hold date, client contact information, etc.)
• Write contracts following approved parameters
• Create detailed Contract and Banquet Event Orders
• Attend walk-thrus with Client
• Arrange site visits
• Assist and oversee day of event setup and logistics with venue Managers if need be
• Oversee operation of events to completion
• Liaison with venue management to ensure proper event execution during events
• Close out month end books, first overview: ensure all events are rung in, revenues are allocated correctly
• Responsible for coordination of outside event services such as security, DJ's, step and repeats, photographer, etc.
• Coordinate and manage all charity events, social events, and cash bar events with the General manager and Chef
• Participate in the organization of in-house promotional events

Requirements:
• 3 -5 years experience working in a similar role in a luxury hotel or catering company with event revenues of $1.5 million or more
• Experience with on-site event execution is required; off-site event execution highly desired
• Exceptional communication and follow up skills
• The ability to work a flexible schedule
