Position Summary:
Responsible for
the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of HRIS platforms such as Paylocity
and, harri. Act as the technical backbone of HR, ensuring that systems support
payroll, benefits, recruitment, performance management, and compliance
requirements while providing accurate reporting and analytics for
decision-making. Ensure the department maintains the quality, consistency, and
integrity of HR data across all systems.
Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:
- Performs hiring and onboarding of employees ensuring all required
tasks and compliance documents are completed
- Processes transfers, promotions and demotions of employees in HR
systems
- Distributes and tracks HR compliance tracks for all assigned
employees as required
- Serves as first point of contact for HRIS related employee
questions and handles HRIS inbox tasks accordingly
- Develop customized HR reports and distributes to assigned parties
per request
- Supports troubleshooting of HRIS issues such as data transfer
issues, process flaws, data discrepancies, recommends solutions and works with
vendor providers to ensure prompt resolution
- Perform data integrity tasks on a regular basis, make corrections
as needed and ensure systems remain clean and compliant
- Assists supervisor in developing and delivering HR system
trainings to support field operations and develops SOPs and training guides as
needed
- Performs system validation and testing and supports adequate
implementation of system changes and updates
- Supports user access addition, removal and updates as requested by
management
- Prepares, analyzes and presents audit documentation as requested
- Supports NRO set ups and implementations
- Provides recommendations in the development and automation of HRIS
tasks to improve productivity and efficiency
- Supports system implementations, upgrades and other
HRIS projects as requested
- Perform data analysis, data updates, exports, imports
as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Excellent
verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and
time management skills as well as sound judgment, discretion, and initiative.
- Ability to compile,
prepare, organize and analyze data for reporting and trend analysis.
- Ability to multi-task and
create efficient processes. Displays strategic thinking and good judgment when faced
with complex or difficult situations and decisions.
- Proficiency in MS Office and web-based programs.
Education/Experience:
- A
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field is required. A
combination of education and experience might be used in lieu of college
degree.
- A
minimum of five (5) years of experience in an HRIS role is required.
Experience with relevant HRIS and ATS systems (i.e. Paylocity, Harri).
