Job description

It is the primary function of the TOGO/delivery specialist to ensure a flawless execution of all TOGO/delivery and curbside orders from all platforms. This includes but is not limited to RRT, DoorDash, UberEats, GrubHub and Postmates.  

Job Responsibilities 

·         Accurately take any incoming togo orders via phone or walk-in and receive payment. 

·         Monitor Ordermark tablet for all incoming orders. 

·         Input orders into Aloha to ensure they are prepared according to pickup time noted in Ordermark, RRT, and/or quoted to the guest. 

·         The TOGO/delivery specialist is responsible for complete menu knowledge. All items should be able to be identified, along with accompaniments and any allergen information. All assigned modules in TOGU are to be completed with 100% accuracy. 

·         Ensure TOGO/delivery station is stocked with utensils, sauce packets, chopsticks, bags & marketing materials at the beginning and end of service. 

·         Communicate with management when supplies are getting low. 

·         The TOGO/delivery specialist is responsible for following all protocols in the TOGO/delivery SOP. 

·         Audit delivery service platforms for accurate menu’s, delivery times and relevant information daily. If discrepancies are found, communicate immediately to GM and Director.  

·         Develop new business by executing outreach and marketing efforts within a 5 mile radius of the restaurant. This includes but is not limited to nearby hotels, concierge, sales teams etc.  

·         Ensure 100% guest satisfaction on all take out, curbside and delivery orders by scoring 90% or higher on all secret shoppers.  

·         Enhance overall guest experience by providing wow moments such as call back the next day to check on satisfaction or incorporating a handwritten thank you card with large orders 

QUALIFICATIONS/PRIMARY JOB REQUIREMENTS:  

·         Minimum of 2 years’ experience in restaurant operations 

·         Enthusiastic, organized and responsible  

·         Experience and willingness to learn and teach others  

·         Pleasant demeanor and phone voice presence to call perspective clients  

·         Be able to multitask and able to remain calm in the face of adversity  

·         Must be very well organized  

·         Demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills  

·         Demonstrate ability to present a positive public image
