Restaurant Area Supervisor Summary
Supervises the management of multiple Papa John's restaurants, ensuring people development,
product quality, customer satisfaction, image management, restaurant profitability and assimilation
into Papa John's culture. Builds and maintains loyal customer base through consistent product
quality, creative marketing strategies and exemplary customer service.
Restaurant Area Supervisor Position Qualifications:

Restaurant Area Supervisor Functional Skills:
Knowledge of computer applications including Excel, Word, and e-mail applications
Aptitude to learn internal computer systems (OARS, PROFIT, and others) to perform critical job
functions
Proficient with FOCUS System or other point of sale system and office equipment
Cash management skills
Advance accounting including invoice reconciliation, debit and credit review, financial statement
analysis
Restaurant Area Supervisor Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required, college degree preferred
Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification
Certified in Papa John's Management Training Program
1 to 2 years in multi-unit supervision preferred
Successful track record in management
Two to five years progressive management experience
Restaurant Area Supervisor Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to use hands repetitively, stand,
walk, grasp firmly/strongly and simply/lightly with hands, and use fine finger dexterity. The team
member is frequently required to bend over, twist, reach above shoulder level, crouch or stoop,
kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and neck in a twisting or static motion and to look up
and/or down, and lift and/or move np to 50 pounds. Occasionally, the team member is required to sit,
climb, balance, push and/or pull, and lift and/or move over 51 pounds.
Restaurant Area Supervisor Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the team member may be required to work outdoors in various
temperatures, in a noisy environment, near moving mechanical parts, with dangerous equipment or
sharp tools, and around fumes, odors, or dust.
Additional Information:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a valid U.S. driver's license, proof of insurance, and satisfactory vehicle
Work long hours, scheduled or unscheduled, as emergencies arise
Travel may be required
Relocation may be required
Ability to successfully perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant, including pizza delivery
Bilingual in certain markets
