Description

Shepherd Neame are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Business Systems team and be a pivotal team member in facilitating the transformation of the current business operations and technology systems.  The primary focus is to help business operations on our SAP ECC6 and QlikView platforms and to help plan the future ERP & BI platforms likely to be hosted in Azure, and enable the integration of Microsoft 365 and Power BI to unify and simplify numerous disparate systems.

This transformation aims to establish a secure, scalable, and agile platform that supports all operational activities across production, supply chain, warehousing, logistics, and sales and service channels. The goal is to achieve a single customer view and a consolidated view of stock to delight customers, enhancing business efficiency & growth.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with key stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyse business requirements for the transition from SAP ECC6 and QlikView to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Process Mapping: Create detailed process maps and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement within the brewery and beer business operations, sales and hospitality service channels across managed and tenanted houses
  • Solution Design: Work closely with the IT team to design the solution architecture, ensuring it aligns with the business objectives and supports the entire value chain, from production processes to customer service and sales channels
  • Data Analysis: Analyse and cleanse data to ensure the accuracy and integrity of information migrated to the new ERP system. Implement data governance and quality standards
  • Change Management: Assist in developing and executing change management plans to ensure a smooth transition for end-users and minimise disruptions to business operations
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate UAT activities, collaborate with business units to ensure that the new system meets their needs, and manage issue resolution
  • Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training materials for end-users to ensure they can effectively use the new ERP system and related tools
  • Reporting and Analytics: Collaborate with the business intelligence team to establish Power BI reports and dashboards to provide insights into business performance.
  • Supplier and Service Partner Management: Engage with technology vendors and service providers to ensure a seamless transition and effective support for new systems and services
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of the ERP and related systems to optimise and maintain business operations efficiently and effectively aiming to delight our customers

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a similar transformation project.
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC6, QlikView, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Azure, Microsoft 365, and Power BI would be useful.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of brewery and beer business operations, supply chain, hospitality and retail customer service.
  • Change management experience to drive user adoption.
  • Project management skills to ensure successful project delivery and provide clear documentation and guidance notes.
  • Knowledge of best practices in data governance and data quality.
  • Familiarity with the brewing and hospitality industry and related technologies is a plus.
