The Title:

Facilities Manager (New York City, Remote)

 

The Role:
The Facilities Manager will ensure the Facilities in NYC, TN, AL, LA are set up for success through the management of all aspects of existing unit issues, remodels, and new store needs. Working as the Facilities Leader to keep the project plan on schedule, vendor relations secure, and ensure all maintenance needs are completed. The Facilities Manager will act as the primary Repair and Maintenance resource for the restaurants.   If you have QSR/hospitality industry it is a plus!

What You’ll Do:

  • Live on the road 50% of the time and be the point of contact in the Region for NYC, TN, AL and LA.
  • Be the go-to for Repairs and Maintenance and make sure that the team, vendors, and restaurants run efficiently.
  • Manage the Service Channel, capturing all the changes, updates, assets, tracker of trends and be the creator of reports.
  • Be the champion for the operators in getting problems fixed so that they can conduct business with little to no interruption.
  • Work to find bids for needed repairs and find networks to support the territory.
  • Manage Vendors to ensure that we have the right people for the right job at the right cost.
  • Develop tracking and process for on-boarding, off-boarding, opening and closures.
  • Serve as the final walk thru and create punch list as needed.
  • Create process, track, and document so that nothing is missed.
  • Ensure budgets, labor and supplies are accounted for throughout the project.
  • Work with on-site managers to identify issues and create an action plan to support the need.
  • Identifying resources needed and assemble the solution.
  • Ensure that Preventative Maintenance is a priority so that we continue to run efficiently.
  • Manage all phases of the project to ensure on time completion and communicate all issues that may stand in the way of the plans.
  • Establish project communication plans and provide status updates to stakeholders regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues.

 

The Qualifications:

  • Multiple years of proven success with multiple concurrent facilities projects utilizing skills in project management, tracking and tools to ensure the best possible outcome.
  • The ability to be on premise 50% of the time to support projects in NYC, TN, AL and LA.
  • Solid understanding of all aspects of facilities from new openings, conversions, vendors, and the ability to speak to timelines and across the organization all stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability monitoring expenses, and fiscal performance and understand of the cost impacts of projects. 
  • Excellence in communication and timeline management.  Provide objectives/goals for projects and deliver on schedule.  
  • Success as a professional, positive, resource across teams and customers always, even challenging situations.
  • Bring solutions forward and always look for ways to make Facilities better.
  • Be able to utilize conceptual and planning skills to analyze
  • Anticipate obstacles and plan for contingencies with the ability to quickly understand all issues and translate those issues into process improvement solutions.
  • Gain buy in through communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Provide documentation in a clear and concise manner and provide timely communication.
  • Have advanced skills with Microsoft tools and Service Channel.

 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to maintain a stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment 
  • Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details 
  • For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds 
  • Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively 
  • Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable 
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
