The Wave, Bristol, are recruiting qualified Lifeguards for our 2025 season!

As a Wave Lifeguard you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our visitors in and around our lake. You will need to be focused, vigilant and proactive, but more than that, we’re looking for lifeguards who embrace The Wave’s core values and can provide an unrivalled customer service.

Our Lifeguards:

• Are Beach Lifeguard qualified and have a clean DBS record
• Follow departmental H&S rules & procedures confidently
• Have a strong attention to detail a proactive mindset, a ‘can-do’ attitude is essential  
• Have a comprehensive understanding of all surf sessions, experiences & wave settings
• Maintaining a satisfactory swim time and completing regular timed swims
• Attending regular training
• Confidently manage session safety and flow to ensure the best and safe experience
• Demonstrate and deliver high levels of customer service to our visitors 
• Champion the departmental standards
• Complete Surf Ops training to support the department in the day to day running
• Demonstrate knowledge of other departments, to be able to assist visitors with their enquiries
