Good Receiver
The job role of Goods Receiver:
SUSHISAMBA® is an extremely busy, fast paced fine-dining operations, offering the most superior cuisine and dining experience to our guests.
Key Responsibilities for Goods Receiver:
- Check Weight/Quantity against purchase order/pending orders sheet and delivery note to ensure correct items are being delivered
- Check Quality/Specification when accepting deliveries
- Ensure stock rotation is observed when storing perishable products ‘first in, first out’. All areas are to be kept clean and clear of any trip hazards
- Return/Reject any products that are incorrect, faulty or below standard
- Communicate any shortages or non-deliveries of product to the operational teams and escalate any major issues to Purchasing Manager
- Raise purchase requests based on established par stocks to ensure continuity of supply. The areas of responsibility are: Chemicals
- Post delivery notes and invoices into the purchasing system with any amendments to ensure departments are charged correctly
- Be responsible for the safe-keeping of staff members’ belongings by manning the locker/uniform room.
- Issue staff uniforms
Core Skills and Requirements for Goods Receiver:
- Intermediate English spoken and reading skills
- Flexible hours
- Basic product knowledge
- Experience in related field (Restaurants or Hotels) is preferred but not mandatory
- Basic Manual Handling knowledge
