The Role
The Line Cook reports to the Executive Chef. The primary responsibility of the Line Cook is preparation of all food items at the station according to specifications and preset time limits. The Line Cook must be able to follow all recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications set by the restaurant while coordinating the delivery of all foods within preset time standards. Assistance with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, coolers, and all storage areas is required.

The Requirements
As a Line Cook we would love you to have:
- Valid Food Safety certification
- Knowledge and experience of most food sections or able to be trained up quickly.
- Ability to stand during an entire shift
- Exerting up to 25 kgs of force occasionally, and/or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move object
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must possess a high level of maturity, dependability, and punctuality

SUSHISAMBA celebrates the culture and cuisine of Japan, Brazil and Peru. The menus are a mix of new and signature dishes with an emphasis on bold flavors, the finest ingredients and artful presentations. SUSHISAMBA additionally has oversees locations in Las Vegas, London, Dubai and Doha.
