The Role:

The Assistant General Manager focuses on supporting the day to day activities in the restaurant, bar and lounge. They will provide 100% support and commitment to the restaurant in regards to strategy, policies, procedures, guests, staff, and purveyors in attaining budgeted goals and sales growth. The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for operations in the absence of a General Manager.

The Requirements:

As a Assistant General Manager we would love you to have:

• Some College required in related field; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• At least 2 years of Food and Beverage experience in a related field, preferably in 4/5 hotels or restaurants
• Has been successful salesperson in a fast pace service environments
• Understanding of Food & Beverage, Restaurant, Bar/Lounge department procedures
• Effective Communication skills with, and cooperates/assists other departments at all levels when necessary
• Clear working knowledge of all company policies and operates within them at all times. Ensures staff awareness of relevant company policies
• Knowledge of Latin and Asian cuisine a plus
