The role: 

The Bar Captain is expected to provide the highest standard of service in the department. By consistently demonstrating their experience and advanced job abilities through their actions, Bar Captains provide a high level of support to the efficiency of the department. They proactively support their colleagues and guests. In addition, they are expected to be able to fulfill the duties of any other non-management tipped role in the department

Our perfect candidate has: 

• 5+ years of experience as a bartender with emphasis in cocktail production (required)
• TIPS alcohol certification 
• Food handling certification 
• Extensive bar and cocktail knowledge 
• Strong communication skills 
• Passion for hospitality and a desire to grow within the company
• The ability to work under pressure and to a high standard
• The capability to meet the physical and scheduling demands of the position, including walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods, and working nights, weekends, and holidays
