Description

A Stage Unlike Any Other

In 1863, a group of artists, writers, and free thinkers gathered with a shared conviction: that the finest conversation, the boldest ideas, and the warmest hospitality belonged together under one roof. Charles Dickens dined here. Whistler argued here. Rodin was inspired here.

The Arts Club was born not as a venue, but as a living expression of creative life — and it has never stopped.

At the heart of that life today are the people and spaces that bring our club to life every day. This is more than an operation — it is an environment where members connect, create, and return time and time again because something about it feels truly special.

It takes an exceptional person to be part of that.

That person might be you.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Casual Bartender, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Bar during your shift, keeping the Head Bartender informed of any guest feedback, VIPs, stock levels, and other relevant matters throughout the day. Maintain the highest level of professionalism and consistency, always striving to exceed member and guest expectations.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Lead by example, ensuring the bar is clean, well-stocked, and ready for service. Maintain impeccable personal hygiene and presentation.
  • Be fully knowledgeable about all drinks on the menu, including cocktails, spirits, and wines, to confidently assist Members and Guests.
  • Follow bar opening and closing procedures as outlined by the Head Bartender or Bar Manager.
  • Take and serve orders promptly and professionally, ensuring accuracy and speed.
  • Use product knowledge to upsell and enhance the guest experience.
  • Accurately process transactions and ensure Members/Guests are billed according to Club procedures.
  • Handle sensitive guest information with discretion, especially regarding preferences and billing.
  • Read and contribute to the Daily Log to ensure smooth communication and service continuity across shifts.
  • Report any guest issues or complaints to the Head Bartender or Duty Manager as needed.
  • Coordinate with Reception and other departments regarding guest preferences or special occasions.
  • Support colleagues and other departments to deliver a seamless and exceptional experience for Members and Guests.
  • Adhere to all Club policies, including those relating to health, safety, fire, hygiene, and security.
  • Attend required training sessions and meetings, and take initiative for your own development.

In return, we offer an excellent range of rewards and benefits, including:
