Sales & Events Manager


Description
WHO:
We are looking for a Sales & Events Manager who has proven background in creating and establishing relationships with a real drive to achieve targets.

THEY SHOULD:
- Be a hands-on manager who leads from the front and can drive sales
- Be knowledgeable about the hotel
- Be personable and engaging
- Have natural rapport and be able to strike up relationships with our guests and clients
- Regularly visit clients, developing and nurturing our relationship
- Have a good knowledge of food and beverage so that they can sell what we do with confidence
- Manage the hotel’s social media accounts including; creating & posting content, responding to comments & messages and engaging with the online community where relevant
- Understand the local market and continually seek opportunities in the area
- Have a strong financial understanding of how sales impacts the hotels profitability
- Have experience of working in a sales role in a similar style property
- Be organised and motivated
- Be confident working with IT
