Come and join our team as a Food & Beverage Manager and let your passion and personality shine

We’re looking for an exceptional Food & Beverage Manager to lead the front-of-house across our two distinctive dining outlets:

  • The Pantry Restaurant – relaxed, seasonal dining
  • The Priory Restaurant – fine dining for breakfast, afternoon tea, and celebratory dinners

You’ll also oversee meetings and events operations, as well as room service, ensuring every guest experience is seamless and memorable.

This is a hands-on role for someone passionate about outstanding food, fine wine, and running a dining room with confidence, warmth, and flair. Working closely with our Executive Chef and senior management team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the guest journey while leading and inspiring a high-performing team.

What We Offer

  • Salary up to £50,000
  • Approx. £2,500 in service charge & gratuities
  • Management bonus scheme
The Operation

  • Pantry Restaurant: 40+ covers + additional 40+ seats on the Garden Terrace.  All-day dining (7 days a week)
  • Priory Restaurant: 50+ covers (3 AA Rosettes).  Breakfast, Afternoon Tea everyday, and Dinner Service (Wednesday-Sunday)
  • Located at the heart of our 33-bedroom hotel (1 Michelin Key, 5 AA Red Star)

Team:

  • 7 full-time and 16 part-time/casual FOH staff (including you)

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience in Michelin or 3 AA Rosette environments (preferred)
  • Strong wine knowledge
  • Proven ability to manage multiple outlets with a commercial mindset
  • A true lead-from-the-front operator (essential)
  • Confident, personable leader with a background in fine dining and luxury hospitality
  • Bar and mixology knowledge (a plus)
  • Someone who understands that great service is effortless, intuitive, and never stuffy

Location: The Bath Priory (part of the Brownsword family of hotels) has a great location in Bath, just a short walk from the city centre, with a bus stop right outside. The hotel is stunning, a Georgian house with 33 bedrooms built in honey- coloured Bath stone and is surrounded by four acres of multi- award-winning gardens. We are proud to have won awards at 5-star level for over ten years and we are seeking sparkling new personalities to join our family.

SERVICE CHARGE-We pay our team service charge each month! This service charge all goes into one pot, and 100% of that service charge is then shared amongst all the team at the hotel-every penny received is paid out to the team.
Service charge can be in the region of £160 a month (close to £2000 per year) over and above base pay, for a full time employee.
