Beechfield House is a beautiful 24-bedroom country house hotel set within stunning gardens in the Wiltshire countryside. Renowned for exceptional hospitality, fine dining, and memorable guest experiences, we are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to become an essential part of our kitchen team.

The Role

As Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen operates efficiently and safely. Supporting our chefs and front-of-house team, you will help maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
  • Washing dishes, cutlery, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen, pot wash, and storage areas.
  • Assisting with deliveries and ensuring stock is stored correctly.
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely and efficiently.
  • Supporting the chefs with basic food preparation when required.
  • Ensuring all cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures are completed.
  • Following Food Safety, Health & Safety, and COSHH regulations at all times.
  • Helping maintain a safe, organised, and efficient working environment.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider hotel team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
What We're Looking For
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as part of a rota.
  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
