This charming pub and restaurant has all the traditional bits (of course), mixed with plenty of modern touches. It combines unusual, high class food with the finest wines and beers, all against the background of a perfect country pub atmosphere.
Our customers tell us our food is tremendous, both in quality and value. We have a great cellar stocked up with cask ales and wines from around the world. As our food menu and winelists show, we know a thing or two about great pub food and drink.

About the programme:

A Commis Chef Apprenticeship at Lovely Pubs is ideal for school leavers, career changers, or anyone looking to get the best start to a chef career.

You’ll receive training in all aspects of food preparation whilst gaining an insight into some of the liveliest kitchens across the South of England.

Working in a Lovely Pubs Kitchen is exciting and challenging, but with a full team to support and mentor you, you’ll develop a rich understanding of food and a passion for our fresh, seasonal and local produce. You will study 1 day per week at one of our college partners and receive world-class training while being paid. When you're not at college you will work 4 days a week in one of our selected restaurants or hotels while being mentored by one of our Head Chefs.
