Nestled between Marylebone and Mayfair, our luxury hotel boasts 199 stunning guest rooms, including 29 suites, the renowned LAVO restaurant, two unique bars, an exclusive nightlife event space, a private screening room, and a wellness centre.

We are seeking an exceptional Finance Assistant to join our talented onsite finance team.

Our Finance Assistant key responsibilities:

·         Processing all incoming invoices for the hotel, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls and policies within the required      timeframe.

·         Maintain and update the Accounts Payable ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

·         Maintain accurate records of all Accounts Payable transactions, ensuring the correct documentation is in place for audit purposes.

·         Oversee the daily income audit process, ensuring all hotel revenue (rooms, food & beverage, and other services) is accurately recorded and balanced.

·         Reconcile daily sales reports, credit card transactions, and cash receipts, ensuring they match with the hotel’s financial systems and bank records.

·         Investigate and resolve discrepancies in reported income and assist in implementing corrective measures if required.

·         Assist in monthly financial closings by preparing necessary journal entries related to Accounts Payable and income audit processes.

·         Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing supporting documentation for all transactions.

·         Liaise with department heads to clarify billing issues, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely processing of payments and revenue reporting.

·         Provide financial reports and updates to management to support decision-making and operational improvements.

What we’re Looking For in our Finance Assistant:

·         Experience in finance roles within luxury hotels.

·         Effective knowledge of finance systems and procedures.

·         Foster a culture of excellence, service and welcome.

·         A passion for sustainability, luxury hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Full-time onsite role: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
