About The BoTree

At The BoTree, we believe luxury should feel purposeful. As part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, our hotel combines uncompromising standards with a conscious approach to hospitality, creating spaces where our team members, guests, community and planet can flourish.

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team. This role plays a key part in supporting the accurate and efficient day-to-day financial operations of the hotel. Working closely with the Finance team and operational departments, you will assist with financial administration, processing and reporting, helping to maintain strong financial controls and ensuring information is accurate and completed within required deadlines.

This in a on-site role, 5 days per week Monday – Friday.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the Finance Team with the smooth and accurate delivery of day-to-day financial operations.
  • Process and maintain financial records accurately and in line with hotel procedures and internal controls.
  • Support the processing of invoices, payments, purchase documentation and other finance administration.
  • Assist with reconciliations and investigate discrepancies, escalating any issues where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within Finance systems and files.
  • Support month-end processes, reporting and other regular Finance activities as required.
  • Liaise closely with operational departments and suppliers to resolve queries and ensure financial information is received and processed promptly.
  • Assist with responding to Finance queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and responsible purchasing practices in line with The BoTree's values and commitments.
  • Contribute to a positive, accurate and collaborative Finance function, maintaining confidentiality and high professional standards.

About You

You will have experience in a finance, accounts or administrative role and be comfortable working accurately with numbers, systems and detailed information. Experience within hospitality or a hotel environment would be an advantage.

Organised and detail-focused, you will take pride in completing work accurately, meeting deadlines and providing helpful support to colleagues across the business.

You bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a collaborative approach, contributing to a culture where both guests and team members can flourish.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience in a finance, accounts or administrative role, ideally within a hospitality or hotel environment.
  • Good numerical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, with the ability to learn Finance systems and procedures.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Clear communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work effectively with colleagues, departments and suppliers.
  • A discreet, professional and collaborative approach, with an understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
  • A commitment to accuracy, financial controls and responsible business practices.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities and operational demands.

What We Offer

  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • Dedicated employee assistance programme through Health Assured.
  • ‘Stream’ financial wellbeing programme.
  • Complimentary overnight stay (including dinner and breakfast) at one of our hotels to celebrate your work anniversary.
  • An extra day’s holiday on your birthday.
  • Hilton Go Travel Programme for Team Members and Family and Friends.
  • Recommend a friend bonus up to £750.
  • 28 days holiday per year, including public and bank holidays, rising to 33 days with annual increments.
  • 2 paid community days per year.
  • Meals provided while on duty.
