About the Role

As Head Butler Host, you will lead the Host Team in ensuring seamless daily operations and delivering exceptional, intuitive service. Your team will embody the concept of a "contemporary butler," providing personalised service to all guests. This includes overseeing room / suite orientations, in-room dining and drinks, and guest room servicing.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Hotel Manager to uphold and exceed departmental standards, ensuring compliance with legal and best-practice protocols.
• Lead and manage the Host Team in 24/7 operations, delivering personalised, intuitive service.
• Efficiently and professionally handle all guest requests, adhering to hotel standards.
• Foster strong collaboration across all departments, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
• Set annual departmental objectives and provide team members with training, progress reviews, appraisals, and development plans.
• Lead, coach and support the Host and Mini Bar teams.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a passion for high-end hospitality, with prior supervisory experience in a Butler / Host role within a luxury hotel. You will possess:

• Proven expertise in in-room dining, cocktail-making, and wine service.
• Strong leadership skills to inspire your team and create exceptional guest experiences.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with experience in hotel systems.
• Proficiency in Harri, team scheduling, progress reviews, and HOD responsibilities.
• A positive attitude, supporting team well-being and ensuring a positive workplace environment.
