The Duchess of Kensington is a large, food-led pub on Gloucester Road that specialises in freshly cooked, seasonal food.

The Duchess has been open for nine months now, and is preparing for her first Christmas season - and we're expecting it to be a busy one!

We’re on the hunt for an Experienced Front of House Team Member to join our lively crew.

Can you own the floor, wow our guests, and deliver service that sparkles? If hospitality is your jam, you communicate with flair, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

You Are:

• Passionate about delivering outstanding, guest-first service
• A quick learner who takes initiative and brings a big personality.
• Thriving in a high-energy venue with a fun-loving, supportive team
• Keen to grow and develop within a fantastic, award-winning company
• Ready to level up and build your career in a rapidly expanding, versatile business

What You’ll Do:

• Welcome guests with warmth, take orders with a smile, and ensure a smooth, memorable guest journey
• Anticipate needs, deliver polished service, and leave guests feeling special
• Stay cool and positive in a busy, high-energy environment
• Collaborate with the team to reflect our brand in every interaction
• Embrace learning and take on new responsibilities as you progress

What's in it for me:

• Competitive rate per hour + tronc
• Training and development
• Career progression and promotion opportunities with regular new openings around the corner
• Team trips, regular incentives and socials – a fun, family atmosphere
• Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) to support you across those tough times
• Good people know good people - an awesome referral scheme where you can earn up to £1000 per successful referral
• Birthdays are for celebrating, so have the day off on us
• Cycle to work scheme
• Get out and about, you automatically get 30% discount across all our pubs, bars and restaurants
• End-of-Year Annual Staff Party & Prize draws!

If you’re ready to bring energy, warmth, and a can-do attitude to our floor, apply now. Tell us what you’d bring to our team and why you’re excited about growing with a fast-moving, award-winning company. https://www.urbanpubsandbars.com/
