The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join the team at The Grazing Goat. A Senior Sous Chef who will not only share our passion for the products but be enthusiastic, work in a team and above all, have fun while doing it all. A desire to deliver the absolute best experience for our guests is a must.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Head Chef in leading daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Train, mentor and motivate junior chefs to achieve Cubitt House’s culinary standards.
• Assist with menu development and contribute creative ideas aligned with our seasonal ethos.
• Uphold food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards at all times.
• Work closely with the management team to maximise guest satisfaction and team performance.
Skills & Experience
• Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Sous Chef in a quality hospitality environment.
• A genuine passion for fresh, seasonal produce and sustainable cooking.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
• Organised, efficient, and calm under pressure.
• A hands-on approach and a commitment to delivering exceptional food and service.
