Job description
Reservationist
We are looking for a strong Reservationist who can consistently deliver exceptional standards.
The future member of our team will:

• Working 5 days out 7
• Rota between 9am-8pm
• Develop relationships with regular guests to maximise sales opportunities and generate future business.
• Communicate with colleagues and managers to ensure all guest expectations are met.
• Develop a close working relationship with all departments, colleagues and managers promoting teamwork within the department and the hotel.
• Consistently deliver exceptional standards of service which exceed customer expectations.
• As a Reservationist, be responsible for selling the hotel and achieving maximum room capacity at all times.
• Ensure all bookings are received and recorded accurately and updated when confirmed or amended.
• Ensure all correspondence is answered and filed immediately.
• Develop relationships with regular guests to ensure we maintain guest loyalty.
• Attend training as requested and implement techniques learned into your department.
• Identify possible sales leads and pass onto the Revenues Manager.
• Actively up-sell the hotel during all guest interactions where appropriate and provide as much information as possible in order to exceed profits of the hotel.
• Ideally have previous experience as a Reservationist, although full training will be given.
