Summary

Engineer 1 will provide repairs and maintenance to a 5-star hotel. Work requests will include but not limited to electrical, plumbing, commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC/R, and cosmetic repairs. He/she will respond to work orders in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

• Minimum 3-year previous experience in related maintenance fields
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks of various pieces of equipment and update service logs.
• Be an active member of the team by working harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Respond to work order requests within a 5-star timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ability to read, write and speak English effectively with coworkers and guests.  
• A flexible work schedule, some holidays and weekends will be required.

Physical Demands

• Must be available to be on call if needed.
• Able to lift sixty (60) pounds.
• Able to sit, stand and walk up to 8 hours
• Capable of ascending ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet
• Fire Safety and Basic CPR/First Aid training (First Responds Team)
