Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Supervisor to support daily maintenance operations across a multi-building luxury resort property. This role provides field leadership to the maintenance team while ensuring work orders, vendor activity, preventive maintenance, and compliance documentation are executed efficiently and professionally. The Engineering Supervisor serves as the operational lead on the floor, supporting the Director and Assistant Director while maintaining active involvement in technical work.


Essential Functions:

1.       Supervise and support daily activities of Maintenance Technicians

2.       Assign, monitor, and close work orders through CMMS (HotSOS preferred)

3.       Ensure timely response to guest and internal service requests

4.       Perform advanced repairs including electrical, plumbing, HVAC support, carpentry, and general building systems

5.       Support parts ordering, inventory control, and supply management

6.       Assist with invoice processing and budget tracking

7.       Maintain life safety logs, inspection records, and compliance documentation

8.       Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response procedures


Qualifications

Required

1.       3–7 years of hotel or commercial building maintenance experience

2.       Prior experience leading or coordinating a team

3.       Experience assigning work and managing workflow

4.       CMMS experience (HotSOS preferred)

5.       Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems

6.       Professional communication skills

Preferred

1.       Experience in multi-building or resort environments

2.       Vendor coordination experience

3.       OSHA, CPR, or safety certifications


Physical Demands

1.       Able to lift up to sixty (60) pounds

2.       Able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours a day

3.       Capable of ascending ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet

4.       Fire Safety and Basic CPR/First Aid training (First Responds Team) or willing to get training
