The Menu Partners is a diverse food business supplying hotels, pubs and restaurants up and down the UK with whole, prepared or cooked food. Within our group of businesses, we also have Absolute Taste, a leading event catering company, Absolute Taste Inflight, our Private Jet catering business along with two farm shops, a pub and so much more.

We have the exciting opportunity to join our fast-paced and fast expanding company as Commercial Manager based at either of our offices in Bicester, Oxfordshire or New Covent Garden, London.

 

Overview of Role

 

The role will take overall responsibility for preparing and implementing existing customer pricing across TMP.   Working closely with Procurement & Commercial teams, this role will review, analyse, recommend and sign off customer pricing to maximise the overall performance of The Menu Partners. 

The role will take an active role in the assessing and preparing new business tenders.  In addition, the role will actively look to identify areas changes can be made to improve the overall performance of the business.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

·       Reviewing, analysing and preparing customer pricing in line with agreed timelines

·       Implementing a clear process of managing customer pricing to ensure correct process and signoff is followed

·       Understanding of impact of cost price changes and impact to customer pricing and margin

·       Communication of customer performance

·       Standard business, customer and performance reporting

 

Key Objectives

 

·       Improvement of overall business performance

·       Development of robust pricing process across all TMP customers

·       Working with system. Provider to develop and implement improved, simplified and more efficient methods of implementing and analysing the customer pricing process

·       Simplification and implementation of robust “Price Banding” structure for relevant customers

·       Communication, training and development of Account Management Team

 

 Key Measurements

 

·       Customer / sector margin performance – target, plan v actual

·       Alignment of pricing schedules

·       Implementation of pricing schedules in line with internal and customer requirements

·       Performance of identified initiatives to improve overall business performance


The Role: 


£45-£50,000 per annum

This role can be based either in our Bicester (Oxfordshire) or our New Covent Garden (London) office locations.
