Job Overview

The Menu Partners is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organised Finance Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong numerical accuracy, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Working day starts between 6am/7am - 8 hours a day - Mon-Friday.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Process and verify invoices, ensuring accurate financial data entry.
  • Manage customer invoicing, payment tracking, and follow-up on overdue accounts.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable records regularly.

Bank Reconciliation

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and company records.

Expense Management

  • Process employee expense claims in line with company policy.
  • Track and report on company expenses to support budget management.

Data Entry & Record Keeping

  • Maintain well-organised and secure financial records.
  • Ensure financial documentation is accurate and accessible.

Audit & Compliance Support

  • Assist with audit preparations by gathering and organising financial documents.
  • Support compliance with internal policies and financial regulations.

Administrative Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the finance department.
  • Assist with responding to internal queries and maintaining smooth departmental operations.

Candidate Requirements

  • AAT is an advantage
  • Experience in a finance or accounting support role
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets and accounting software.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
