At The Menu Partners, we are a rapidly expanding, diverse food group supplying premium products to restaurants, pubs, hotels, events, and private clients across the UK. Responsibilities :

  • Ensure full legal compliance across all areas of transport, including driver hours, tachographs, vehicle checks, and operator licence requirements
  • Manage and maintain driver and vehicle compliance, including training, documentation, and performance standards
  • Plan and optimise delivery routes to meet business and customer needs while maximising efficiency and minimising costs
  • Oversee and manage the transport budget, identifying areas to reduce loss and improve operational performance
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer delivery needs are met on time and to a high standard
  • Respond to delivery issues, delays, or incidents with clear communication and practical problem-solving
  • Manage and support a team of drivers and transport staff, promoting a culture of safety, professionalism, and accountability
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting in line with regulatory and business standards

Requirments:

  • Proven experience as a Transport Manager in a fast-paced logistics or food distribution environment
  • CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) holder – essential
  • Strong understanding of transport legislation, driver compliance, and fleet operations
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and route optimisation skills
  • Budget management experience and the ability to track and reduce operational losses
  • Confident communicator who can manage driver teams and work cross-functionally
  • Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and customer-driven
  • Comfortable working Monday–Friday, with flexibility to support weekends as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Benefits:

  • Company events
  • Company pension
  • Discounted or free food
  • Health & wellbeing programme
  • Life insurance
