Job Title: Maintenance Assistant (Painting & Decorating) – Part Time
Location:
Devon (Holiday Resort)
Hours: 16 hours per week (2–3 days per week, flexible)
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Here at the Mole Resort, we operate a fantastic resort, set in 125 acres of stunning Devon countryside, jam-packed with delicious food and drink and a whole lot of exciting activities.
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and practical Maintenance Assistant with a focus on painting and decorating to support the upkeep of our holiday resort. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with basic painting experience who takes pride in keeping spaces clean, fresh, and well-presented for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out painting and decorating across guest accommodation and communal areas
- Prepare surfaces including sanding, filling, and basic repairs
- Refresh rooms between guest stays to a consistent standard
- Assist with general maintenance tasks as required
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damage promptly
What We’re Looking For
- Previous painting and decorating experience (informal or professional)
- Good attention to detail and ability to work to a neat finish
- Practical, hands-on approach with basic maintenance skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Positive attitude and willingness to help across the site
