Welcome to London's biggest independent pub company !

Urban Pubs & Bars was founded in 2014 and has since expanded to an estate of over 67 pubs, bars and restaurants across London.

We've won lots of awards in that time, most recently at the 2026 Publican Awards where we took the prizes for  ‘Best Managed Pub Company - 2-50 sites’ and Best food offering. We are also proud to be recognised by The Sunday Times in the Top 100 Companies to work for in 2025 and 2026.

The Role

We're looking for a passionate and ambitious Assistant Manager to join the team at The Roebuck, our thriving neighbourhood pub in the heart of Chiswick.

With a beautiful courtyard garden, buzzing bar and strong community following, The Roebuck is a pub for all occasions, from relaxed weekday lunches and after-work drinks to busy weekends, celebrations and Sunday roasts.

As Assistant Manager, you'll work alongside the General Manager to lead a passionate team, drive exceptional guest experiences and help shape the future success of one of Chiswick's most exciting local pubs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced supervisor or current Assistant Manager who loves hospitality, thrives in a busy environment and is ready to take the next step in their career with London's largest independent pub and dining group.

  • Ensuring high standards of food, drink and service are consistently delivered.
  • Maintaining compliance, health & safety and licensing standards.
  • Building relationships with our local community and regular guests.
  • Playing a key role in creating a welcoming, energetic and inclusive culture.
