Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-driven Events Manager to lead our private hire, group dining, and bespoke event offerings across one or more Cubitt House locations. This is a pivotal role focused on driving sales, elevating guest experience, and ensuring seamless execution from enquiry to post-event follow-up.
? Key Responsibilities
Sales & Planning:
Handle all event enquiries with warmth and professionalism
Convert leads into confirmed bookings, maximising revenue and upsell opportunities
Conduct site visits and client meetings, building trusted relationships
Coordination & Delivery:
Create detailed event function sheets and coordinate all internal teams (kitchen, bar, floor)
Ensure all events are delivered to the highest standard, in line with Cubitt House values
Be present and lead on key event days as required
Brand & Guest Experience:
Champion our luxury innkeeper service ethos throughout every interaction
Tailor packages and offerings in line with site personality and seasonal menus
Seek feedback and continuous improvement opportunities post-event
Financial & Admin:
Maintain accurate event records and forecasts
Report weekly event sales figures and conversion rates
Support budgeting and P&L responsibility for the events revenue stream
About You
Proven experience in events management, ideally in high-end hospitality, boutique hotels, or luxury pubs
A natural host with impeccable communication skills
Highly organised with strong commercial acumen
Passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences
Proficient in CRM/event booking systems (e.g. Tripleseat, SevenRooms, or similar)
Calm under pressure and solutions-focused
