Cubitt House is a collection of eight distinctive London pubs celebrated for their seasonal British menus, impeccable hospitality, and timeless interiors. Inspired by master architect Thomas Cubitt, we honour London’s heritage by creating vibrant spaces that feel both elegant and welcoming. Our pubs—including The Thomas Cubitt, The Alfred Tennyson, The Orange, The Princess Royal, and The Grazing Goat—blend British craftsmanship with a sense of community, partnering with the finest artisans and producers to deliver exceptional experiences.

We are more than a pub group—we are a family of passionate individuals dedicated to craft, creativity, and genuine service. At Cubitt House, we believe in celebrating people and places through thoughtful design, locally sourced food, and warm, memorable moments.

The Role

We’re looking for a Floor Supervisor to join the team at The Thomas Cubitt, our flagship pub in the heart of Belgravia. With elegant brasserie-style dining rooms, timeless interiors, and a loyal local following, The Thomas Cubitt is one of London’s most iconic destinations for elevated British hospitality.

As Floor Supervisor, you’ll lead by example during service, supporting the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You’ll oversee daily operations on the floor, manage pacing and covers with confidence, and ensure every guest enjoys warm, attentive service that reflects Cubitt House’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example during busy services, ensuring smooth floor operations.

• Supervise, coach, and support junior waiters and runners.

• Act as a key point of contact for guests, ensuring every experience exceeds expectations.

• Oversee floor plans, pacing, and covers with confidence and precision.

• Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and management teams.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within premium hospitality.

• Calm, confident leadership under pressure.

• Professional, warm, and guest-focused approach.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• A passion for food, wine, and delivering outstanding service.

On The House

At Cubitt House, our people are at the heart of everything we do. They bring our pubs to life, and we believe exceptional work deserves exceptional rewards. When you join our team, here’s what you can look forward to:

• Competitive pay plus service charge.

• Perkbox – 30 points every month to spend however you like.

• Enhanced maternity and paternity leave.

• Wagestream, pension & cycle-to-work scheme.

• Employee of the Month recognition & reward programmes.

• Supplier trips, tastings, and external learning opportunities.

• Delicious staff meals while on shift.

• Monthly Bar Academy for cocktail mastery and premium drinks training.

• Quarterly staff socials, competitions, and a legendary Christmas party.

• Language development school to help you grow.

• Work anniversary reward – £100 per year up to 5 years, then £150 per year thereafter.

• A bottle of champagne on your birthday.

• 50% off food & drink across all Cubitt House pubs.

• Clear career progression within a respected, growing hospitality group.

• A supportive, passionate culture that values both skill and character.
