About the Role
As a Receptionist at RedCat, you’ll be the first friendly face our guests see and the person who sets the tone for their stay. You’ll provide a warm welcome, handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and make sure every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.

You’ll be the main point of contact for guest enquiries—whether in person, over the phone, or by email—providing accurate information, taking reservations, and resolving any concerns with professionalism and a smile. You’ll also support with administrative tasks, payments, and keeping the reception area inviting and well-presented.

Organisation, communication, and attention to detail will be at the heart of everything you do, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests and a stress-free day for the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Welcome – Greet guests warmly, handle check-in/check-out, and explain hotel facilities and services.

  • Reservations & Enquiries – Manage bookings, answer questions, and provide local recommendations.

  • Communication – Liaise between guests and other departments to ensure needs are met promptly.

  • Payments & Admin – Process payments, issue invoices, and keep accurate records.

  • Presentation – Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming reception area.

  • Problem-Solving – Address guest concerns quickly and professionally.

  • Safety & Security – Follow health, safety, and data protection procedures at all times.

  • Team Support – Assist colleagues during busy periods to keep service flowing smoothly.
