The Role
As the Global Head of Procurement, you will:
- Develop and implement global procurement strategies to optimise cost, quality and efficiency.
- Oversee the procurement process, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring the best terms for the hotel.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor and analyse procurement metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven improvements.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Handle any issues that arise in the procurement process, providing prompt and professional solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, implementing innovative ideas to enhance procurement operations.
