The Role

As an Operations Director, you will:

  • Lead all aspects of hotel operations across Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Club services.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of departments, ensuring a seamless guest journey.
  • Provide strategic leadership to drive service excellence and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the executive team on planning and key business initiatives.
  • Ensure service standards are met and exceeded across all touchpoints.
  • Promote team engagement and performance across diverse functions.
  • Uphold brand consistency in presentation, guest service, and experience.
  • Champion a safe, inclusive, and values-led working environment.

About Us

The Twenty Two is a luxury lifestyle hotel located on London’s historic Grosvenor Square. Our property, set within a listed Edwardian manor, combines cultural elegance with modern charm. We offer an all-day public restaurant and a private members’ club with 31 bedrooms and suites.

About You

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about excellence and culture.

You will have:

  • Proven experience in a senior hotel management role, ideally as a General Manager or Hotel Manager in a luxury or boutique environment
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams
  • Deep understanding of Rooms, F&B, and operational standards
  • Commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability
  • Excellent communication skills and a guest-first approach
  • A calm, professional, and solutions-driven mindset in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for exceptional hospitality and continuous improvement

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership across all operational departments.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality guest experiences throughout the hotel and club.
  • Monitor performance against service, financial, and brand standards.
  • Drive efficiency through effective budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders on planning and innovation.
  • Lead risk, safety, and compliance measures.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture aligned with The Twenty Two’s values.
