Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to excellence in supply chain accuracy and hospitality standards? We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end environment and can ensure seamless goods intake that supports our exceptional guest service.

The Role

As a Goods Receiver, you will:

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately log all incoming deliveries to ensure quantity and quality align with purchase orders.
  • Communicate discrepancies promptly to relevant departments and suppliers.
  • Ensure proper labelling, storage, and rotation of stock (FIFO), minimising waste and spoilage.
  • Liaise with chefs, purchasing, and accounts to ensure smooth operations and cost control.
  • Uphold hygiene and safety standards in all delivery and storage areas.
  • Manage and maintain Adacco or equivalent stock systems accurately and in real time.
  • Coordinate the timely return of rejected or damaged goods.
  • Support stock takes and audits as required.

About Us

The Twenty Two is a luxury hotel, restaurant, and private members’ club located in the heart of Mayfair. We are dedicated to delivering an outstanding experience to our guests, members, and team. Every detail matters — from the ingredients in our kitchen to the items behind the scenes.

About You

You will have:

  • Working knowledge of stock management systems (e.g., Adacco).
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Good numerical and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and accountability.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, including weekends and bank holidays as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately receive and log all goods on delivery.
  • Ensure all products meet quality and brand standards.
  • Manage documentation and supplier delivery notes in compliance with internal controls.
  • Organise storage spaces effectively and hygienically.
  • Monitor expiry dates and rotate stock appropriately.
  • Report any variances or issues to the Purchasing Manager or Executive Chef.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in receiving and storerooms.
  • Uphold Health & Safety, Food Safety, and HACCP procedures at all times.
