The Role

As a Head Waiter, you will:

• Lead your section with confidence and inspire high service standards.
• Deliver elegant, intuitive service with a polished floor presence.
• Support junior team members with coaching and feedback during service.
• Maintain control of service flow and resolve guest issues discreetly.
• Contribute to daily briefings and help uphold the rhythm of the restaurant.

The Twenty Two is a luxury lifestyle hotel located on London’s historic Grosvenor Square. Our property, set within a listed Edwardian manor, combines cultural elegance with modern charm. We offer an all-day public restaurant and a private members’ club with 31 bedrooms and suites.

About You

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about excellence and culture.

You will have:

• Previous experience in luxury dining, ideally as a head or senior waiter.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• High emotional intelligence and guest engagement abilities.
• The ability to manage service flow with grace and accuracy.
• Knowledge of wine and food pairings.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a floor section, ensuring smooth, high-quality service.
• Lead by example and train junior staff in best practices.
• Take accurate orders and deliver confident service with attention to detail.
• Manage guest feedback and resolve issues professionally.
• Support stock checks, opening/closing duties, and hygiene protocols.
• Represent the team during service briefings and lead service transitions.
