At The Twenty Two, we are looking for a Head Bartender to lead our bar team, delivering outstanding beverage experiences while maintaining the highest standards of service, creativity, and operational excellence across our bars.

The Role

As a Head Bartender, you will:

  • Lead by example, delivering exceptional cocktail, wine, and beverage service in line with The Twenty Two's luxury standards
  • Oversee the daily operation of the bar, ensuring smooth, efficient service during busy periods
  • Inspire, coach, and develop the bar team, creating a positive and high-performing working environment
  • Ensure consistency in drink quality, presentation, and guest experience across every service
  • Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory controls while minimising waste
  • Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, organisation, and bar presentation
  • Work collaboratively with restaurant, club, and kitchen teams to deliver a seamless guest journey
  • Represent The Twenty Two brand with professionalism, confidence, and attention to detail at all times

This is a hands-on leadership role, combining exceptional bartending skills with team management and operational responsibility.

About You

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about excellence and culture.

You will have:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Bartender or Head Bartender within a luxury hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, spirits, and premium beverages
  • Experience leading, motivating, and developing a bar team
  • Excellent organisational skills with a strong understanding of bar operations and stock management
  • A calm, professional approach and the ability to perform under pressure
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences with outstanding attention to detail
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused mindset
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the bar, ensuring exceptional service at all times
  • Deliver consistently high-quality cocktails and beverages to brand standards
  • Train, mentor, and support the development of bartenders and bar support team members
  • Monitor stock levels, ordering, wastage, and inventory controls
  • Ensure health, safety, licensing, and hygiene procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Build positive relationships with guests, anticipating their needs and creating memorable experiences
  • Support colleagues across departments to ensure a seamless guest journey
